Teapot & Sencha Akane Set

A first cup, already packed. The Degawaen Gift Set puts Akane, a clear glass server, and a tea-house tote in one order.

Inside is 35 g of Akane, Sayama green tea from the Degawaen garden in Iruma. The leaves are thick from the cooler hills, finished with the traditional Sayama roast, so the cup is deep and a little toasted rather than thin and grassy. Thirty-five grams is enough for several sittings, not a sample sip.

The clear glass server lets you watch the leaves open. Brew, pour, and the color tells you when it is ready. The canvas tote carries the tea and the server, printed with a tea-house street, pines, and cats.

Give it as a starter set, or keep the pouch and use the bag for the next tin.
